The Jelajah Malaysia Digital (JMD) event took place today at TEGAS Digital Village and was organised by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). It was officiated by YAB Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg.
In his address, the Premier described TEGAS Digital Village (TDV) as a dynamic innovation hub—an inspiring space that not only cultivates new ideas but also creates opportunities across various sectors, particularly in the digital economy.
JMD serves as a strategic initiative to support creative content development, accelerate industry growth, and elevate Sarawak’s presence at both national and international levels.
Among those in attendance were YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital; YB Datuk Wilson Ugak Anak Kumbong, Deputy Minister of Digital; YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Sarawak cum Chairman of TEGAS; and YB Tuan Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, Chairman of MDEC.
