25–26 April 2026 | Advancing Sarawak’s aerospace talent pipeline, the Sarawak Rocketeer Can-Sat Challenge 2026, organised by TEGAS, saw nine teams of secondary school students aged 13–15 progress from preparation at TEGAS Digital Village to live rocket launches at Politeknik Kuching.
The Sarawak Rocketeers Competition Launching Ceremony, officiated by Datuk Abdullah bin Haji Saidol, Secretary of the TEGAS Board of Trustees, marked the first programme in Sarawak combining real rocket and Can-Sat technology, delivering immersive, hands-on aerospace exposure that builds critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and sparks the ambition of future engineers, innovators, and rocket scientists.
