22 April 2026 | The Rakan Komuniti TEGAS 2026 programme concluded at TEGAS Digital Village, strengthening the role of school counselors in guiding students on education and career pathways across Sarawak. The closing ceremony was officiated by TEGAS Deputy Chairman, Datuk Dr Jerip Anak Susil.
Implemented in Kuching, Sibu and Miri, the programme engaged a total of 225 school counselors through sessions with TEGAS, MEITD and JPNS, followed by briefings on higher education opportunities and visits to universities and technical training institutions.
This initiative strengthens a more structured education ecosystem, equipping educators to guide students towards opportunities under the Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES), as well as pathways in STEM and TVET aligned with Sarawak’s workforce needs.
