TEGAS Community Innovative Learning (TCIL) was thrilled to be part of the STEM Carnival at SK Saint Francis Xavier, Kanowit 2025, a two-day event designed to spark students’ curiosity and passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The carnival brought together eager young learners ready to explore how innovation can shape their future.

As invited facilitators and exhibitors, TCIL conducted the Microbit Basic Programming Workshop and Basic Drone Flying Workshop, giving students hands-on exposure to digital skills and emerging technologies. Our exhibition space featured a range of interactive experiences, including Nex Playground, Virtual Reality, Flight Simulator, Playstation 5, and IQ Puzzle, all aimed at creating a fun and engaging STEM environment.

The event also featured exciting student competitions such as the Bridge Building Challenge and Water Rocket Launch, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. The carnival was officially launched by Encik Yakup Bin Jai, PPD Kanowit, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Kenny Bilong Lusat, Headmaster of SK Saint Francis Xavier, for the kind invitation and warm hospitality.

We hope this initiative leaves a lasting impact and inspires students to see STEM not just as subjects in school but as tools to solve real-world problems and drive future innovation.
