The Youth EdXchange Programme 2025 took place at TEGAS Digital Village and was organised by Fly Technology Agriculture Sdn. Bhd. (WormingUp), with support from Maybank Foundation and the ASEAN Foundation. The closing ceremony was officiated by The Honorable Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak cum Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak.
As the venue partner, TEGAS Digital Village provided a vibrant and collaborative setting for the two-day programme. Various spaces within the facility were utilised, including the Makers Lab for environmental and SDG-themed exhibitions, the Event Space for hands-on workshops such as Cocoacraft, bloom paper, and eco candle-making, and both the Training Room and Auditorium for ideathon sessions. The Auditorium also hosted forum discussions on sustainability, youth-led campaigns, and social enterprise development.
The programme brought together 10 ASEAN youth and 50 local youth to co-develop SDG-aligned solutions through structured training, mentorship, and peer exchange. Representing TEGAS, Joan, Senior Executive of the Project, Research & Development Section, was selected as one of the local youth buddies and paired with a delegate from Thailand.
Among those in attendance were Abang Jamili Bin Abang Julai, Regional Director Region Sarawak, Maybank; Ms Jasmine Dadi, Senior Manager of Project Research and Development TEGAS; Miss Fallisca Evon, Programme Director of eYAA: Cohort 5; and Mr Wee Hung Yee, Director of WormingUp.
